Entering beautiful Elizabeth Harbour and George Town after
story book anchorage at Warderick Wells, Exumas Land & Sea Park -- and navigating,
with our friends (expert sailors), in and out of tight rocky passes with rapidly swirling
currents. We explored Staniel Cay, Little Farmers, Lee Stocking Island, Pipe Creek and
Sampson Cay.

Our diving buddies lead us to these lucid waters off Walkers
Cay (after a tumultuous Gulf Stream crossing from Stuart, Florida). We cruised the Abacos
from Walkers to Manjack, Green Turtle, Great Guana, Man of War Cay, Marsh Harbor, and
Elbow Cay to Little Harbour

We have come to love the Bahamas, and the Bahamian people.
The Bahama Islands are beginning to experience challenges similar to those we have
witnessed (and have overcome, to a degree) in Florida's beautiful coastal and barrier
island areas -- including the long term deleterious results from dredge and fill
operations.
From Hal & B.J.'s extensive adventures in the Bahama out islands, including the
Abacos, Eleuthera, and the Exumas, a large body of Bahamian
images has been created. Many of these works were shown in
two major one-person exhibitions:
THE BAHAMIAN GAP - EXOTIC MOODS & ADVENTURES, Fall 1991
THE GULF TO THE CARIBBEAN - Winter 1993
